A compact approach to on-site hydrogen.

Hydrogen production, designed around the point of use.

The concept combines methanol reforming with a compact microchannel reactor architecture. Our development work focuses on thermal integration, reaction performance and integration with downstream hydrogen purification.

Methanol is a hydrogen carrier, not a zero-emission feedstock. Reforming produces a hydrogen-containing gas stream and carbon dioxide. Feedstock sourcing, process energy and the treatment of CO2 all matter when assessing lifecycle emissions.

Our objective is to reduce electricity demand compared with water electrolysis. A target of up to 90% lower electrical consumption remains subject to experimental validation and a like-for-like system boundary. This is not a claim of 90% lower total energy use or guaranteed hydrogen cost.

The next steps are detailed engineering, laboratory validation and demonstration in a relevant environment. We are seeking industrial partners for co-development, integration and future licensing. Commercial specifications and availability will follow validation.
