The HydroXpand HXS-2 is a compact AEM water electrolysis stack intended for researchers, equipment developers and system integrators. Its nominal hydrogen output is approximately 500 litres per hour, equivalent to around 1 kg per day at the rated operating point.
The HXS-2 is supplied as a stack rather than a complete hydrogen generator. External power supply, electrolyte circulation, gas handling, instrumentation and safety controls must be provided as part of the surrounding system.
