On-site hydrogen: the integration challenge

Concept illustration.

An on-site hydrogen project begins with the application. Required purity, pressure, flow and operating hours determine much of the system design.

A reformer must be integrated with feed handling, process controls, purification and the equipment that consumes the hydrogen. Installation planning also needs to address utilities, ventilation, maintenance access and site-specific safety requirements.

That is why we focus on early collaboration with equipment manufacturers, integrators and industrial users. A clearly defined application is a better starting point than a generic promise about hydrogen cost.
